Hasan Ali discusses the upcoming matchup with Sri Lanka. Hasan Ali, a fast bowler from Pakistan, has talked about the first Test against Sri Lanka, which starts on July 16 at Galle.



Earlier today, Sri Lanka Cricket President's XI and Pakistan played a warm-up match in which Hasan took three wickets in the first innings.


The 29-year-old stated that participating in the warm-up game provided the team with an excellent opportunity to prepare for the first Test.


The pacer stated in an interview, "We got a chance to prepare well during the two-day warm-up match, and I am satisfied with my performance." In the Test series against Sri Lanka, I will do my best to perform.


Hasan also talked about how playing county cricket helped him feel better.


"The performance in the county has boosted my confidence greatly." Additionally, I am practicing in the nets to work on improving my batting,” he added.


During the warm-up match, adjusting to the weather was beneficial to the team. We gained trust before the start of the Test series by taking 14 wickets and having some players score runs.


In Hambantota, the two-day warm-up match between Pakistan and the Sri Lanka Cricket President's XI ended in a draw.


At the end of the second day, Pakistan was 88-4 against the home team. Salman Ali Agha took two wickets for Pakistan, while Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah each took one.


Details show that Pakistan scored 342 runs in their first innings to take a 146-run lead.


For the visitors, Babar Azam, Saud Shakeel, and Shan Masood all scored fifties.


In 18.3 overs, Lakshitha Manasinghe gave up 82 runs while taking four wickets for the hosts.


After putting up 79 runs with seven fours and a six, Azam was run out.


In the meantime, Shakeel, a left-handed pitcher, was retired on 61 runs thanks to six fours.


In their first innings, Pakistan were bowled out for 78.3 overs, and Sarfaraz Ahmed remained unbeaten with 17 runs.
