Hamza Ilyas of Pakistan wins the World U21 Snooker Championship over an Indian opponent. On Wednesday in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan's Hamza Ilyas won two matches in a row at the World Under-21 Snooker Championship.

In the second match of the group, Hamza prevailed 1-3 over India's 12-year-old Aravuu Sancheti. The 17-year-old made a comeback after losing the first set on tie ball and won three sets in a row.

Hamza also played a break of 50 in the final frame.

Umar al-Fahdal from Iraq was defeated by Hamza in the first game. After winning the Championship twice, he advanced to the next round.

Tomorrow, Hamza will play his final match against Fabian Heikken of Germany.

Pakistan's Ahsan Ramzan, on the other hand, will play in all three of the group games tomorrow.

It is important to note that Ramzan defeated Malad Pourali of Iran by a score of five-two in the June final to win the Asian Under-21 Snooker Championship in Iran.

By convincingly winning the first four frames, the young Pakistani cueist established a 4-0 lead and appeared to be the favorite going into the match.

In spite of an extremely impressive rebound by the Irani, as he won the fifth and 6th casings, Ramzan didn't lose his grasp on the game and completed the game by dominating the seventh edge and guaranteeing the title.

Frame scores of 48-46, 70-5, 61-6, 62-29, 30-71, 55-67, and 101-27 secured his victory in the match.

It is appropriate to mention that the young snooker sensation Ahsan impressed the entire world with his precision at the IBSF Snooker World Championship 2022. He orchestrated an incredible comeback in the final against Iran's Amir Sarkhosh, going from being 4-2 down to eventually winning 6-5 and becoming the second-youngest cueist to win the prestigious title. This made Ahsan the second-youngest cueist to win the prestigious title.

In addition, Ahsan is Pakistan's third snooker player to win the international amateur world championship, joining Muhammad Yousaf, who did so in 1994.

It is important to note that Ahsan finished second in the U21 championship and won the national U17, U18, and U19 championships.
